Three Arrows Capital Co-Founder Su Zhu is in Jail
Su Zhu Apprehended in Singapore
Three Arrows Capital Co-Founder Zhu was Apprehended today in Singapore while trying to fly out of the country.
According to the Business Times Zhu Su was apprehended at Changi Airport and subsequently received a four-month prison sentence. Likewise, fellow co-founder Kyle Davies is also expected to serve a four-month prison term; however, his current location remains unknown.
On September 25, Teneo obtained a committal order against Zhu due to his deliberate failure to comply with a court order. The court order required Zhu to cooperate with the liquidators' investigations and account for his activities as a co-founder and former investment manager of 3AC.
During Zhu's four-month prison sentence, the liquidators will engage with him regarding matters pertaining to 3AC. The primary focus will be on the recovery of assets that belong to 3AC or were acquired using its funds. Teneo may also file additional court orders as necessary.
